Kids In Need Foundation programs support teachers who have 50% or more of their students participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). We strategically mobilize our efforts and resources through our foundational programs and initiatives –Supply A Teacher, Retail Pick-Up Program, Second Responder, and our National Network of Resource Centers.

Beyond Words, a program of the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, rewards grants to help rebuild school libraries that have incurred substantial damage or hardship. Funding can help replace books, media, and/or library equipment that support learning in a school library.

This program provides an opportunity for teachers in underserved schools to pick up free items from local retail stores for their classrooms.

The Second Responder® program provides supplies to teachers and students affected by natural disasters.

Over 40 mission-driven organizations across the country provide teachers the opportunity to 'shop' for free for school supplies.

Supply A Teacher provides two large boxes filled with the items students need to fuel a full semester of active learning for 24 students.
