Frequently Asked Questions

For Teachers

Your time is precious. Our goal is to save you time by compiling resources, lesson plans, and content that are useful and easy to find. It’s a one-stop shop for teachers.

Most important? It’s all totally free. You will never pay a dime.

Need a quick lesson plan on geography for 5th graders? We can help you find it.

Need to decorate your classroom? We’ve got free posters. (Choose Classroom Resources and surf those options!)

Want to read an article that’s written by teachers in the trenches about things you actually care about? Already queued up and ready for your eyeballs.

There isn’t one. Our resources are available to all teachers, always and forever. No logins, no password to remember, no secret handshake (although that would be cool!).

Every week, we compile the best of what ETED has to offer in a single email you can skim over your caffeinated beverage of choice. We’d love to have your email address so we can send you this magical newsletter of awesome and some occasional extra special opportunities for more free resources and gifts, but we promise never to sell your email address or use it for nefarious purposes.

Any time you hear from us, we promise it’s because YOU are the one who will benefit.

Every Teacher, Every Day is on a mission to help all educators: teachers in the classroom, instructional support, teachers online, even teachers at home, and anyone who serves America’s students.
We use the term teacher interchangeably with educator but, rest assured, if these resources help you serve any student, they are yours for the taking.

Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) is a non-profit organization that believes every child in America deserves equal opportunity and access to a quality education. KINF provides the resources and tools needed for teachers to teach and learners to learn. KINF believes that when teachers are well-equipped with the supplies needed in their classroom, they can focus on what is most important: their students and lessons in the classroom.

Hence, Every Teacher Every Day (ETED).

KINF has a vast network of resources and contacts that provide FREE stuff for teachers. We think those resources should be easy to find and easy to use. In addition, we want to give teachers a safe, practical community where they feel known, understood, and cared for.

Teachers can receive products via our resource centers.  Teachers who do not have a resource center nearby can apply to Kids In Need Foundation's Supply A Teacher program, as well as apply for our retail programs. Driven by our generous partners, Kids In Need Foundation's retail programs offer an opportunity for teachers in underserved schools to receive free items for their classrooms. As our retailers transition seasonal items and make shifts in inventory, those products are set aside to be donated to local, under-resourced schools.

Each member of the National Network of Resource Centers operates under its own unique guidelines for distributing supplies, focusing on supporting teachers and students in schools with an enrollment of 70 percent or more participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Please contact the resource center closest to you to find out how to shop.

We encouraged teachers from schools not serviced by the National Network of Resource Centers to apply for Kids In Need Foundation's Supply A Teacher program. We accept applications year-round.

For Partners

We partner with generous brands, companies, and individuals who understand the need to give back and ensure all students have the supplies they need to learn. Check out our presenting sponsor page to see previous and this year's partners.
